Accessibility

Access is part of the plan.

Allaina Listens is committed to making this campaign usable, welcoming, and accountable across the Five Doors of Access.

Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, use plain language, caption video, provide meaningful image descriptions, maintain keyboard and screen-reader usability, offer accessible documents, and publish detailed access information for events.

If something is not working for you, tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and how you would like us to respond. You do not need to provide a diagnosis or medical explanation.

Five Doors of Access

Accessibility is larger than a ramp.

Physical

Routes, entries, doors, seating, restrooms, transportation, reach, distance, and room to move.

Sensory

Sound, light, crowding, scent, quiet-space options, visual clarity, and predictable conditions.

Communication

Plain language, captions, interpretation, image descriptions, readable formats, and more than one way to respond.

Emotional

Clear expectations, consent, privacy, non-punitive support, content awareness, and freedom to step away.

Relational

Belonging, welcome, support people, respectful assistance, representation, and the knowledge that access needs are not a burden.

Accountability

Ask, verify, describe honestly, correct mistakes, and make each event and communication more accessible than the last.

Report an access barrier

Tell us what happened.

Include the page, task, device, assistive technology, or event detail that would help us understand. Share only what you want us to know.
