Privacy

Your story belongs to you.

We collect only what we need to respond, organize, understand community concerns, and run the campaign responsibly.

The short version

We will not sell your information. We will not publish your name, story, photo, or identifying details without the permission you selected. You never need to donate, volunteer, or support Allaina to be heard or to use the resource hub.

Last revised September 21, 2026. This campaign policy should be reviewed by the campaign's legal and data leads before public launch.

What we collect

Only what the task needs.

Listening submissions

Your story or question, optional name and contact details, optional neighborhood, topic, sharing permission, and follow-up preference.

Help-navigation requests

A general description of the need, safe contact information, and which forms of contact are safe. Do not send sensitive documents.

Volunteer and event forms

Contact details, interests, availability, access preferences, invitations, and related planning information.

Campaign contributions

A separate donation processor may collect information required by campaign-finance law. Its notice and required fields should appear at the point of donation.

How information is used

Respond, route, learn, and report safely.

  • Respond when you request a reply.
  • Route a concern or request to an appropriate campaign volunteer or public resource.
  • Identify anonymous patterns across resident experiences.
  • Plan events, volunteer work, language access, and accommodations.
  • Send campaign or listening updates only when you choose them.
  • Meet legal campaign-finance and recordkeeping obligations.

What we do not ask for

Do not send high-risk records.

  • Social Security numbers
  • Medical records or detailed diagnoses
  • Immigration documents
  • Bank or payment information through listening forms
  • Private addresses unless a secure process specifically requires one
  • Detailed abuse narratives to prove that help is needed

Storage and access

Limit access and keep only what is needed.

Information should be stored through approved campaign systems and limited to people who need it for a defined task. The campaign should remove or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless law requires it to be retained.

External services

Linked sites have their own policies.

Resource providers, official election sites, form processors, email platforms, and donation processors may collect information under their own privacy practices. Review those notices before submitting sensitive information.
