Allaina Listens
Regular listening hours in a familiar, accessible community space.
Events
Listening, learning, and service events with clear details about cost, participation, and access.
Upcoming gatherings
Events will appear only when the time, location, host, purpose, and access details are confirmed.
That may mean a smaller calendar, but it also means no one should have to chase basic information or arrive to discover an avoidable barrier.

Ways to gather
Some events will be about the campaign. Many will simply help people connect, learn, or serve.
Regular listening hours in a familiar, accessible community space.
Small conversations at local diners and cafés, with no purchase required when possible.
Respectful laundromat listening sessions held only with business consent.
Accessible neighborhood pop-ups that bring the conversation closer to home.
Resident-led walks or rolls documenting access, drainage, crossings, lighting, and maintenance.
Supply drives and service days, often in partnership with trusted local organizations.
Plain-language sessions about what local government controls and how residents can take part.
Free practical mini-workshops shared by residents and local professionals.
Small facilitated conversations across differences, built around curiosity and dignity.
Access is part of the invitation
Date, time, exact location, transit, parking, drop-off area, and the step-free route.
Entry notes, restroom access, seating, door information, and distances when relevant.
Expected sound, lighting, crowd size, quiet-space options, weather, and scent requests.
Captioning, ASL, language access, microphones, written materials, and virtual options.
Childcare, food, cost, registration, what to bring, and “nothing required” when that is true.
A person for access questions, a response target, and a deadline for arrangements when one is necessary.
Bring the conversation to you
Ask Allaina to visit your block, business, faith community, classroom, organization, meeting, or gathering.
An invitation does not need to be formal, political, large, or public. Tell us who you hope to include, what you want to discuss, and what would make the conversation accessible.
